Rich Masino brings over 30 years of experience in biotech, pharma, and diagnostics to his role as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at ZoaDx, where he focuses on advancing growth and fostering strategic collaborations in animal health clinical research. Rich’s leadership and expertise span both human and animal health diagnostics, with deep knowledge of infectious diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and women’s health, as well as veterinary diagnostic applications.
Before joining ZoaDx, Rich led the expansion of the Integrated Health Surveillance & Disease Diagnostics division at MRIGlobal and spearheaded a large animal health diagnostic R&D partnership program, driving innovation and building strategic alliances in the field. He has also held leadership positions at Molecular Devices, Affymetrix, Life Technologies (Thermo Fisher), and NextPharma, where he contributed to product development, sales, and strategic growth.
Rich is an active member of the Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine and the American Society for Microbiology, reflecting his commitment to advancing both human and animal health research.
He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from San Jose State University.
