ZoaDx

ZoaDx, a newly launched contract research organization (CRO) dedicated to advancing animal health clinical research, proudly announces the appointment of Marielle Lejcher as president. Her leadership will be instrumental in shaping the company’s growth and innovation as it expands its services to support the evolving needs of the animal health industry. With a strong background in regulatory strategy, clinical operations, and quality assurance, she has been a key player in ensuring compliance and efficiency in clinical trial execution.

Lejcher brings more than 20 years of experience, primarily in the area of in vitro diagnostics (IVDs), with risk strategy and FDA policy as her key areas of focus. She has held various leadership roles at Seegene USA, Fang Consulting, Starkey Laboratories, Beckman Coulter, Viromed, Prevention Genetics, Barrow Neurological Institute, and NaviDx, where she provided strategic quality and regulatory services for IVDs. Her expertise spans design and development, quality systems, risk management, biocompatibility, and both international and U.S. regulatory affairs.

“Marielle’s expertise in regulatory affairs and quality assurance, combined with her deep understanding of the animal health industry, makes her the ideal leader for ZoaDx,” said Chermaen Lindberg, co-founder and senior advisor at ZoaDx. “Her vision and strategic approach will help us continue to provide high-quality clinical research solutions that advance veterinary medicine.”

Under Lejcher’s leadership, ZoaDx aims to strengthen partnerships with veterinary pharmaceutical and medical device companies, enhance study design methodologies, and further integrate innovative technologies to improve trial efficiency and data quality.

In addition to her role as president of ZoaDx, Lejcher also serves as the senior director of regulatory affairs and quality assurance for CovarsaDx, a prominent CRO dedicated to human research specializing in the areas of in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) and medical devices. Her dual expertise bridges the gap between human and animal health, reinforcing the belief that innovation in diagnostics and medical research benefits every patient, human or animal.

Beyond her industry leadership, Lejcher is an adjunct professor of international regulatory in the School of Engineering at the University of St. Thomas. She is also an active member of the Clinical Diagnostics (CDx) Executive Committee and other working groups for the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC), a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating medical technology access by addressing regulatory challenges collaboratively.

Lejcher holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from Arizona State University and a CORe Credential of Readiness in Economics, Accounting, and Business Analytics from Harvard Business School (HBS).

“Stepping into this role at ZoaDx is incredibly exciting,” said Lejcher. “This is a time of growth and innovation in animal health research, and we’re here to make a real impact. Our goal is to run high-quality, compliant clinical trials that help bring groundbreaking veterinary diagnostics and treatments to market. I’m looking forward to working alongside our talented team to push the industry forward.”
