Haley Geer is a Veterinary Clinical Research Coordinator at ZoaDx, where she supports preclinical and clinical studies with a focus on study coordination, regulatory compliance, and animal care. She brings a strong foundation in production animal science, aquatic species research, and veterinary clinical practice—making her a versatile and valuable resource for sponsors and study sites across species and settings.

Before joining ZoaDx, Haley worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she managed the daily care of zebrafish colonies across multiple labs in a federally regulated research facility. In this role, she monitored animal health, supported veterinary procedures, and maintained detailed records on breeding activity and research samples using platforms like SoftMouse and FileMaker. She regularly collaborated with veterinarians, investigators, and lab managers to ensure compliance with federal regulations and uphold the highest standards of animal welfare.

Haley earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from the University of Florida, with a minor in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. Her coursework emphasized production animal health and included hands-on labs in Animal Nutrition, Growth and Development of Farm Animals, and Reproductive Physiology and Endocrinology in Domestic Animals. These experiences gave her practical skills working directly with livestock species and deepened her understanding of their role in research and agricultural systems.

She also gained clinical experience at the UF Small Animal Hospital and volunteered at a nonprofit veterinary clinic, where she assisted with emergency and exotic animal care, diagnostics, and client communication.

Haley brings precision, professionalism, and a passion for advancing animal health to her role at ZoaDx. Whether she’s coordinating site logistics or supporting protocol compliance, she helps ensure every study moves forward with care, clarity, and confidence.
